We followed a stream most of the way into the Canyon

We hiked in a narrow slot canyon for an hour or so

We were thankful for the sturdy bridge that crossed the Colorado River

We saw about 10 rafts on the muddy river

We were still smiling after the long hike down (after resting and having lunch); what about after hiking up?

It was warm at the bottom - mid 80s

The Bright Angel trail didn't seem as closed in a canyon as the north side

Hard to believe we came all the way from the other side! 12 hours to go 24 miles. We were proud of our accomplishment.
